As the premier league resumes it poses a new change with no fans available to cheer their team. And after a series of events the premier league has agreed to players wearing “black live Matters” slogan on their back in support for the movement.
This was agreed in a meeting held on Thursday and each opening round of games will see the players’ names replaced by the slogan together with having a minute of silence to honors NHS staffs. The tribute was proposed by clubs captains and plans are underway to ensure the design is available for order according to professional football association representatives.
The league has also confirmed it will not have a problem with players taking a knee before kickoff or on goal celebration emphasizing their support towards the movement. This was after referee addressed the issue of giving a yellow card prior to the meeting.
