The premier league stakeholders are looking forward to resume the competition after the interruption by corona virus pandemic. It said they want to put up the best match on resumption with Manchester united vs Tottenham Hotspurs being echoed.
Its set to be a benchmark for the rest matches and could be as early as Friday June 12th. Having made a step closer by players back to training and the government greenlight to have contact training it seems project restart is back on truck.
A number of players are happy to be back training in the likes of Lingard, Maguire and Liverpool players others are opposed citing it’s too soon. Others protesting the need for three weeks training to ensure full fitness.
Now that the German League is already two weeks since restart there is building pressure for premier league to restart. With each Bundesliga game played its feared the German league is growing on the expense of English premier league and could cause great damage to the most prestigious league in the world.
Most players will experience changes for they don’t usually play on summer and with no fans allowed its expected to raise more concern on fatigues given the fixture congestion. The stakeholders expect fans to be openminded on these factors and adhere to government directive of not attending the matches.
